PANCE PREP PLAN

Because I will be completing my final rotation in February 2024 my PANCE studying will be quite different from my peers. My test date for PANCE is 2/26/2024.  Currently, I’m on my emergency medicine rotation and studying for that rotation allows me to cover a great deal of topics, instead of being focused on one system. From the day I go on break I plan on having a routine schedule that will allow me to study, review, and work my way through Rosh, uWorld, and Kaplan questions.

My goal is to have a morning session of studying, and an afternoon session of studying.

December Schedule:

  • 9-12pm Morning session (Review topics from PPP)
  • 12-2pm (gym & lunch)
  • 3-6pm Afternoon session (Review topics from PPP )
  • 7-9 pm 25 questions from ROSH going over the topics I reviewed for that day
  • 9-11pm (unwind)

Come January, I will be completing my Psych rotation and will be on site from 8am-4pm Monday – Friday, so my study schedule will be different. I plan on completing 25 questions of psych, and 20 questions of everything else. This will allow me to prepare for psych EOR as well as keep the knowledge of other organ systems that I reviewed during my time-off fresh, as well as from PPP review course.

For my psych EOR I plan on purchasing the Rosh EOR Q bank for psych that has 250 questions, additionally, NCCPA has two practice PANCE exams that are available I plan on purchasing them and using them the weekend before my PANCE exam.
